CONTRACT CLASSES

Contract classes are held at the Cultural Arts Center. A minimum of five students is required per class. Students are encouraged to register at least one week in advance of the first day of class. Classes with low enrollment will be canceled. If a class is canceled, participants will be notified and issued a full refund. Registration is now open at the Norwalk Arts and Sports Complex during regular business hours. If you have questions about these classes, please call 562-929-5521.

 

CAC CLASSES

Get creative at the Cultural Arts Center (CAC) this Spring! There are a variety of classes, workshops, and special events for individuals of all ages. Our classes are specially designed for a specific age range, li’l munchkins (1-2), tots (3-5), youth (6-12), teens, (13-17) and adults (18 and over). CAC classes and workshops are offered free or at a nominal fee to Norwalk residents. Classes are 45 minutes in length, unless otherwise noted.

Registration is now open and may be completed at the Norwalk Arts & Sports Complex. Registration takes place during regular operating hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m., and Saturday 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Register early!  If there are fewer than three participants enrolled in a class (prior to the first day of class) the class will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued

PLEASE NOTE:  Art is messy. Bring an apron or oversized shirt to protect clothing.

 

MUSIC CLASSES

Beginning / Intermediate Piano / Keyboarding 

AGES: 5 + 

COST: $65.00 / 6 weeks ($15.00, cash only, book fee is due the first week of class

INSTRUCTOR: Jim Warino

Jim Warino has been teaching for 30 years and is credited on 57+ recordings by helping some of the world’s greatest musicians in a variety of ways. Learn the basic and more of how to play piano/electric keyboard through hands-on techniques, exercises, practice regimens, note reading, melodies, and songs in a fun class setting. Students must have an electronic keyboard to bring to class.
